Mexican Street-Style Turkey Burger

Create a sensation on your menu with an adobe-seasoned patty, avocado, street corn and pickled onions on a toasted bun.

Ingredients

Turkey Patties

garlic cloves, minced

1

chipotle pepper in adobo, finely chopped

1 tsp.

adobo sauce (from the can)

1/2` tsp.

ground cumin

1/2 tsp.

smoked paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

1/4 cup(s)

minced white onion

2 tbsp.

chopped cilantro

Zest of 1 lime

Directions

  1. 1. Make the Patties: Remove from the packaging and place on a wire rack.
  2. 2. Cook the Patties: Season and Grill or pan-sear over medium-high heat for 5–6 minutes per side, until internal temperature reaches 165°F. Let rest 2 minutes. After the first flip of the burger top with the ancho mixture.
  3. 3. Mix Elote Topping: Combine corn, mayo or crema, cotija, chili powder, lime juice, and cilantro. Taste and adjust seasoning.
  4. 4. Assemble the Burgers: Spread avocado mixture on the bottom bun, add turkey patty, spoon over elote-style corn, and top with pickled onions. Finish with top bun offset to showcase the burger.
