Give Diners a Taste of Breakfast Indulgence
July 2016
Move over, coffee and cereal. More and more diners are taking a break from the fast-paced morning rush to relax and enjoy decadent breakfast dishes. 23% of consumers say they’re seeking indulgent foods on the morning menu. Use these tips to treat your diners to the extra-special a.m. offerings they crave.
- Make it cheesy. Cheese is a go-to comfort food, and ooey-gooey lunch sandwiches like grilled cheeses are making their move onto the breakfast menu. Serve this tasty Turkey & Cheese Panini with a side of scrambled eggs for an indulgent breakfast that packs major flavor.
- Bowl them over with a hearty morning treat. From smoothies to layers of eggs and hash browns, breakfast bowls are trending. Try these Turkey Sausage Migas, complete with shredded Jack and Cheddar cheeses, queso fresco, avocado and buttery scrambled eggs.
- Give them more morning meats. Bacon is an ever-popular a.m. menu favorite, but it’s time to branch out. Offer a medley of proteins in your breakfast dishes and à la carte options. Try something different, like turkey bacon, turkey sausage, turkey ham or turkey breast filets.
- It’s all about the base. Familiar comfort foods like waffles make delicious bases for filling meals. Think beyond sweet applications, too. Get inspired with our Turkey Chorizo Gravy over Biscuits.
